SHARONVILLE, Ohio (AP) - A UPS employee in Ohio has been fired for wearing blackface as part of her Halloween costume.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports UPS media relations manager Kim Krebs cited the company’s strict policies against harassment and discrimination for the dismissal. Krebs says in a statement the company has “no tolerance for hatred, bigotry or prejudice.”

It’s not clear whether the woman wore the costume to work. UPS declined to name the employee.

Kansas City hospital officials said Tuesday an employee who posted photos of herself in blackface no longer works there. The woman was dressed as Beyoncé in a photo on her now-removed Facebook page.

Morning show host Megyn Kelly was fired from NBC last month after suggesting it was OK for white people to wear blackface at Halloween.
