INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Duke Energy says remaining customers who lost power during the recent ice storm should have service restored by noon Sunday.
Duke said nearly 186,000 of its customers in Indiana experienced a power outage as a result of Thursday morning’s storm, and about 5,300 remained without power Saturday afternoon.
The utility said it has nearly 1,000 local and out-of-state power line specialists, vegetation personnel and other employees working in local communities across the Midwest to address isolated and scattered outages. It earlier had said it had more than 500 employees working to restore service in Indiana.
