NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - Dalonte Brown scored a career-high 25 points on 9-of-11 shooting, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range, to help Miami (Ohio) beat North Dakota State 89-78 on Friday in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase.

Nike Sibande hit three 3s and finished with 19 points and Darrian Ringo had 10 points and seven assists for Miami (2-1).

Sibande hit two 3-pointers and converted a 3-point play during a 22-6 run early in the second half that gave the RedHawks a 66-54 lead and North Dakota State (1-2) trailed the rest of the way. Tyson Ward scored six points during a 15-6 spurt that trimmed the deficit to five with 1:56 left but Jalen Adaway answered with a 3-pointer and the Bison got no closer.

Vinnie Shahid led NDSU with 15 points and Tyree Eady scored 12.

Miami shot 58 percent from the field, including 12 of 27 from 3-point range, and made 13-of-15 free throws.
