President Trump insisted Tuesday that there was nothing “out of the normal” happening in North Korea regarding its missile bases.

On Monday, The New York Times reported that the isolated nation is developing more than a dozen missile bases and producing nuclear material in the mountains — but the president said it’s “just more Fake News.”

“The story in the New York Times concerning North Korea developing missile bases is inaccurate. We fully know about the sites being discussed, nothing new - and nothing happening out of the normal,” Mr. Trump tweeted, “I will be the first to let you know if things go bad.”

The president has remained optimistic about the U.S.-North Korea relationship, despite a lack of progress on the denuclearization front.
