A school in San Diego allowed the display of a mural on a wall that showed a spear right through the head of President Donald Trump.

This isn’t just an affront to the world of art and to commonly held notions of decency.

It’s an eye-raising show of how the left gets by practically with murder — at least, with making a mural of it — if the target is the right, whereas the right, if the roles were reversed, would not.

Could you imagine a mural at a school that showed a spear shoved through the side of Barack Obama’s head?

Here’s what transpired just recently at the MAAC Community Charter School in Chula Vista: An “artist” — and that term’s used very loosely here — named Sasha Andrade painted a mural for the annual scholarship fundraiser Battlegroundz that showed three warriors, one of who held a human heart and another, a spear with a tip that was thrust through the bloody severed head of Trump.

Renoir, it ain’t.

Remember: This is the day and age of zero tolerance in schools, where a Pop-Tart nibbled into the shape of a handgun will get a kid suspended; a water pistol carted into class, expelled; a crayon drawing of a violent scene, recommended therapy. Yet this mural was OK?

Following complaints, school officials told Andrade to alter the mural. She reportedly agreed, but then waxed defiance and posted a photo of her mural, in all its original Trump-killing glory, on her Facebook page with this message, the San Diego Tribune reported: “They can try to #censor it but here it is guys!!!” The post included the hashtag, #freedomofexpression.

School officials subsequently covered the mural with a black tarp and then a piece of plywood.

But they offered up this rather lame-o statement: “We understand that there was a mural painted at the [Battlegroundz] event … that does not align with our school’s philosophy of nonviolence. We have been in communication with the artist, who has agreed to modify the artwork, to better align with the school’s philosophy.”

Secret Service, meanwhile, was informed, but it’s not clear if an investigation has launched.

And the mainstream media? The story’s a yawner, for the most part.

A different White House, a different president, a different political party and all that rather tepid response would be quite different, however. Simply put, if Obama’s head had been put on a spear, that mural never would’ve seen the light of day — and if it had, the media would be demanding the artist’s head on a Secret Service platter, at the very least.
