BUFORD, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in Hall County say the body of a 19-year-old man was pulled from Lake Lanier.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Hall County sheriff’s spokesman Stephen Wilbanks on Monday identified the man as Stephen Frederick of Peachtree Corners. Wilbanks said foul play is not suspected.

Hall County Fire Services spokesman Zachary Brackett said emergency officials responded around 9:20 p.m. Sunday. They were told that Frederick had jumped off the second story of a dock and hadn’t resurfaced.

Brackett said it took divers about an hour to find the body in 19 feet of water.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office plans to investigate.

The newspaper says it’s the second drowning this month at the lake and the third this year.
