LAS VEGAS — Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper was among the celebrities who appeared on the T-Mobile Arena Jumbotron in an in-arena segment before the Vegas Golden Knights played the Washington Capitals in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday.

Harper welcomed fans to the arena in a video segment that also included rapper Lil Jon, rocker Carrot Top and TV host Jimmy Kimmel.
A Las Vegas native, Harper is a notable Golden Knights superfan. He recently told NHL Network he will attend Game 4 of the Stanley Cup in Washington wearing his white Jonathan Marchessault sweater.
As for Game 1, Harper said he would watch the game on television from Baltimore after his Nationals had a Memorial Day afternoon game against the Orioles. He grabbed a catch against the right field fence in the Nationals’ 6-0 win.
