GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Supreme Court has upheld the second murder conviction of a Gillette man, finding that errors at trial were not enough to throw out the guilty verdict.

The Gillette News Record reports the court decided last month to not overturn the conviction of Todd Sindelar, who was sentenced to life in prison last year for the 2013 shooting death of Matthew Boyer.

Sindelar claimed he had an unfair trial due to multiple jury instruction errors by the lower court.

The state Supreme Court ruled that Sindelar was not prejudiced by the errors in jury instruction.

Sindelar was convicted of second-degree murder in 2015 and sentenced to life in prison. He successfully appealed the conviction, leading to a new trial last year.
