YOUNGTOWN, Ariz. (AP) - Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a suspect who allegedly fatally shot a man in the Phoenix suburb of Youngtown.
They say 37-year-old Anthony Romero was involved in Thursday’s shooting south of the U.S. 60.
Authorities say the victim died at the scene. The man’s name hasn’t been released yet.
Deputies say Romero is considered armed and dangerous.
He reportedly has a distinctive tattoo above his right eyebrow and teardrop tattoo under his left eye.
Deputies say they have had previous contacts with the people who live at the home where the shooting occurred and those involved unknown trouble and check welfare calls.
Youngtown is located about 25 miles (35 kilometers) northwest of Phoenix.
