The parents of two small children whose nanny stabbed them to death at their New York City home say she is “an evil and utterly dangerous narcissist” who deserves her sentence of life in prison without parole.
Dad Kevin Krim says it’s right nanny Yoselyn Ortega (YOH’-sih-lihn ohr-TAY’-guh) “should live and rot and die in a metal case.”
Ortega was convicted last month in the deaths of 6-year-old Lucia Krim and 2-year-old Leo Krim and was sentenced Monday. She cried and said she’s “very sorry for everything that happened.”
Ortega had been working for the Krim family for about two years when she took the children to a bathroom of their apartment and killed them in 2012. She argued she had been too mentally ill to understand what she was doing.
The judge calls Ortega “pure evil.”
