SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah police say they arrested a person in Salina suspected of making a terroristic threat on Snapchat.
KUTV-TV reports the Salina City Police Department received a complaint regarding the threat posted on Snapchat on Sunday night.
Salina police say the post featured a picture of a person holding a large military-style bullet.
According to police, the photo’s caption read, “Don’t go to school tomorrow.”
Police say officers located the suspect and determined that the post was a hoax.
Police say no specific threats were made to any specific school.
The suspect was arrested was booked into the Sevier County Jail on a third degree felony charge of a terroristic threat.
Salina is located 96 miles (154 kilometers) south of Provo.
