DENVER (AP) - A fire has destroyed two residential buildings under construction in Denver.
The fire was reported at around 2 a.m. Thursday near the Denver Broncos stadium and was extinguished before dawn.
The buildings were being developed as townhomes and were expected to finished by the summer. The fire also damaged a neighboring home but its residents were able to get out safely.
This is the second large construction fire in Denver this year.
In March, two people were killed in a daytime fire at an apartment building being built near downtown.
