As the Washington Capitals continue their never-ending quest to win a second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series, they have arrived in Pittsburgh for Games 3 and 4.
That could be good news: After the Capitals lost all three away games in their series with Pittsburgh in 2016, they went 2-1 in the Steel City in 2017’s matchup on their way to forcing a Game 7. The Penguins also lost two of their three home games to Philadelphia in the first round.
On the other hand, Pittsburgh, always a hostile environment for the Capitals to begin with, will be as fired up as ever to greet the rivals. Capitals forward Tom Wilson did not receive a suspension for a Game 2 hit in which his shoulder collided with the head of the Penguins’ Brian Dumoulin, which upset many Penguins fans.

Opponent: Pittsburgh Penguins (series tied 1-1)
