ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Federal authorities have arrested two people suspected of robbing an Anchorage bank last month.

Anchorage television station KTUU reports Derrick Moore and Bethany McKeel are charged in the April 3 robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank on Debarr Road.

Prosecutors say Moore, carrying a small bag, and a second man, carrying a pistol, entered the bank shortly after 5 p.m.

They demanded cash from a teller and departed with more than $15,000.

Prosecutors say the masked men took a trail through woods and met McKeel in a getaway car.

Federal authorities say they found counterfeit currency in the getaway car, which was stolen.

The second suspect inside the bank has not been charged.

Attorneys listed in online court documents for Moore and McKeel could not be reached early Tuesday.
