Leave it to the gang at MSNBC’s Morning Joe to provide their viewers just the right analysis and perspective on the biggest story of the day.

According to Joe Scarborough and his team of elite commentators and journalists, the announcement that President Trump will participate in direct discussions with the North Korean regime to discuss the cessation of their nuclear weapons program was actually just a distraction from the Stormy Daniels lawsuit their cable network has been obsessed with for the past several days:

“Is this a deflection … from Stormy?” asked Mika Brzezinski, Scarborough’s co-host and fiance with whom he began his romantic relationship after many years as co-workers at NBC/Universal.

“Of course it’s a deflection,” Scarborough replied.

“He makes a decision on North Korea because of Stormy Daniels, and people can deny that all they want, but if you’re doing that, you’re in the tank for Donald Trump, because it is painfully obvious that’s exactly what’s going on,” Scarborough said.

And if you count yourself among the few elites in Manhattan or Washington DC who rely on these two to start your day with sharp and intelligent analysis of the important news in the world… That’s what you got.
