GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A man has been indicted for the fatal shooting of two apartment complex employees in north Florida.

The Gainesville Sun reports that 23-year-old Cedric Tremaine Plummer was indicted Friday on two counts of first-degree murder for the fatal shootings on Feb. 13.

Prosecutors say Plummer killed 28-year-old Jude Osuji Jr. and 61-year-old Robert Brumbaugh in the office of the Summer Place Villas in Gainesville.

Plummer was also charged with kidnapping 19-year-old Kailey Roberts and forcing her to drive him away from the crime scene at gunpoint.

Eighth Circuit State Attorney Bill Cervone says he has not decided whether to seek the death penalty against Plummer.

He is being held in the Alachua County Jail without bond. It was unclear if he had retained a lawyer.
