KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee forward Admiral Schofield has decided to enter his name into the NBA draft without hiring an agent, which gives him the option to return for his senior season.

Schofield tweeted Thursday that “Coach (Rick) Barnes has encouraged me to go through that process, work out for teams and learn as much as I can about the transition from college to professional basketball.” Schofield added that he’s “looking forward to the opportunity to receive feedback from NBA personnel and see where I stand.”

The 6-foot-5, 238-pound Schofield averaged 13.9 points and 6.4 rebounds this season while helping Tennessee go 26-9 and win a share of the Southeastern Conference regular-season title .

Schofield has until June 11 to decide whether to withdraw from the draft and stay in school.
