COALVILLE, Utah (AP) - The Latest on a fatal Utah highway crash (all times local):

Utah troopers say 12 semitrailers and two passenger cars were involved an initial crash on an icy Utah highway that triggered more collisoins.
The fatal snarl Monday morning led to four additional crashes within half a mile of the original crash on Interstate 80 near the junction with Interstate 84.
Utah’s Highway Patrol says one person was killed and three others were taken to hospitals with injuries.
Troopers say westbound Interstate 80 was still closed late Monday afternoon.

Utah troopers say at least three people have been injured and one person killed in a fatal snarl on an icy Utah highway.
Sgt. Nick Bricker said there were 23 vehicles in about half a dozen crashes Monday morning on Interstate 80 near the junction with Interstate 84.
Bricker said one person was flown to a hospital in critical condition and two others were driven to hospitals in Park City. He says 13 other people were taken by a bus to the nearby town of Coalville. Some of those on the bus had minor injuries like bruises.
He says the crashes occurred on a half-mile, curving stretch of the highway in morning darkness and snow.
Bricker did not have details about the person who was killed or the injured people.
Troopers reopened the eastbound lanes of I-80 but the highway’s westbound lanes remained closed Monday afternoon.

Utah authorities are working to clear a snowy highway where about 30 vehicles were involved in a fatal crash Monday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Bricker says authorities do not yet have details on the person who was killed in the crash on Interstate 80 near the junction with Interstate 84.
Bricker says most of the 30 vehicles were semitrailers.
Authorities say those involved in the crash are being bused to a nearby church to stay warm.
Bricker said officials do not yet know how the accident started.

Officials say at least one person has been killed and more than 20 cars are involved in an accident on a snowy and icy northern Utah highway.
The Utah Highway Patrol says in a statement that the Monday morning accident on Interstate 80 near the junction with Interstate 84 in Summit County involved 20 to 30 vehicles.
Troopers say at least one person has died and multiple ambulances are at the scene.
Officials have closed I-80 in the area in both directions.
Troopers did not immediately have details on how the crash unfolded.
