Roseanne Barr told Jimmy Kimmel on a recent “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” segment that yes, indeed, she voted for Donald Trump for president — and she did so because the left went so far left that it left even liberals like her buzzing.

It’s such fun when liberals turn on their own, even when the tone is joking.

Here’s how it went down, hat tip to the Blaze for noting: Kimmel opened discussions by pointing out Roseanne’s new show, a reboot of the old, includes political discussions that are fiery and divided, even among family members.

Barr agreed, but said the show is similar to her own family upbringing.

“Everybody’s family is pissed off at each other,” she said, speaking of her life-imitating-art reality during the 2016 campaign season. “We had some pro-Hillarys and some pro-Trumps, and there was a lot of fighting.”

Well, Kimmel replied, what of your friendship with Hillary Clinton?

Why’d you vote for Trump?

“I had some disagreement with her foreign policy,” Barr said.

Right. Who didn’t — but the furthest of the left, right?

Kimmel: “Listen, never mind her foreign policy. How about Captain Wacko we’ve got running the country here? … I’m shocked because I know you were a very liberal, socially liberal person in general.”

And Barr’s reply? One for the replay buttons.

“I’m still the same,” she said. “You all moved. You all went to f—ing far out, you lost everyone.”

Classic. And true.

The left, under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, of Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Thomas Perez — and very nearly, Keith Ellison — and of Barack Obama himself, has moved so far left its members now reside in Socialist Land.

And until more like Barr recognize it, that’s where they’ll stay.
