REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - A fire at a Delaware outlet store has caused $5,000 in damage to the building.

Delaware Chief Deputy Fire Marshal Harry Millers tells The Daily Times of Salisbury that the Thursday fire was in a storage area in the back of the Polo Ralph Lauren store at the Tanger Outlets. The storage area had a sprinkler system.

Investigators determined the light fixture malfunctioned, starting the fire. No injuries were reported. It’s unclear how much merchandise was damaged.

Crews from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Indian River responded to the early morning fire.
