WASHINGTON (AP) - Metropolitan police are searching for two more suspects thought to be involved in a fatal January shooting.

The Washington Post reports the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 26-year-old Charles Wennen Young Wednesday for the shooting death of 29-year-old Kenneth Poindexter.

The Post reports Poindexter was shot eight or nine times as he ran into an apartment building Jan. 20 in southeast Washington. An arrest affidavit says the shooting was spurred by a neighborhood dispute that included one man being hit over the head with a bottle. It says three men shot at Poindexter as he walked down a street and tried to hide behind several vehicles.

At least 42 bullets were fired during the shooting and police have recovered shell casings from 9-milimeter, .40 and .45-caliber weapons.
