Houston Rockets star Chris Paul said after the Rockets’ 129-120 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves that he would pay any amount of money the NBA fines Gerald Green for shoving a Minnesota player in Paul’s defense Sunday.
Chris Paul, by the way, said he would pick up any fine that comes Green’s way for the incident. https://t.co/Z7Ssk26BNo

Timberwolves center Gorgui Dieng pushed Paul to the ground as he attempted to save the ball from going out of bounds. Green jumped to his teammate’s defense by shoving Dieng with both forearms.
Green was ejected for the move.

“I’m just trying to be there for my teammate,” he said. “I saw something happen and I reacted. I paid the consequences for it. I learned my lesson, got ejected, try not to do that again, and hopefully we’re going to move forward from this.”
