Ryan Grant got paid.
The former Washington Redskins wide receiver will sign a four-year, $29 million with $10 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports. The NFL Network was the first to report.
The news comes hours after the Redskins agreed to terms with speed-threat Paul Richardson.
Grant, drafted in the fifth round of the 2014 draft, was one of the Redskins’ most reliable receivers in 2017. He had a career-high 573 yards for four touchdowns. He was a favorite of the coaching staff for his work ethic and familiarity of the offense.
The Ravens, meanwhile, desperately needed an upgrade at wide receiver. Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco had the worst season of his career and lacked playmaking threats on the outside. Grant can be used in the slot or the outside.
Baltimore also added former Arizona Cardinals receiver John Brown.
In January, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said the team would try their best to re-sign Grant, but didn’t sound as optimistic at the scouting combine in early March.
