BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont maker of outdoor clothing has been sold at auction to a New York City-based investor group.

The Burlington Free Press reports Ibex has been sold to a group called the Flour Fund. Ibex is well known as a maker of wool clothing for outdoor and casual use.

Former Ibex chief executive officer Ted Manning declined to disclose the price of the sale. He also says he does not know if Flour Fund plans on rebuilding the company in its home base of White River Junction, Vermont.

The sale of Ibex comes months after the collapsed plan of a sale of the company in early 2017.
