EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. (AP) - A third body has been recovered from a private plane that crashed off Long Island, New York, killing four.

Newsday reports that police recovered the body Friday from the wreckage of the Piper Navajo that crashed June 2.

The two bodies found earlier have been identified as Bernard and Bonnie Krupinski, both 70. Bernard Krupinski was a builder whose clients included Martha Stewart and Billy Joel.

Police did not say whether the body recovered Friday was the couple’s 22-year-old grandson, William Maerov, or the aircraft’s pilot, 47-year-old Jon Dollard.

Authorities say the plane was coming from Rhode Island when it crashed as it approached East Hampton Airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash.
