SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Authorities said Thursday that one person was fatally shot and two others wounded in San Francisco.
San Francisco Police Department spokesman Joseph Tomlinson said the shooting occurred around 3:20 p.m. Thursday in the city’s Mission District neighborhood. Tomlinson said shortly after the shooting, that two victims were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital in unknown condition. He said no arrests were made.
San Francisco General Hospital spokesman Brent Andrew, however, said the hospital received three gunshots victims and one died. Andrew said one victim is in serious condition and the other in critical condition. He declined to release their names.
Tomlinson and other SFPD officials didn’t return phone calls and emails requesting clarification on the discrepancy and seeking updates.
