Fox News apologized Tuesday after they were criticized for airing images of the Philadelphia Eagles kneeling in prayer during a report about President Trump’s decision to rescind the team’s invitation to the White House.
Critics said the package implied the Eagles were protesting during the national anthem.
The network called the images “unrelated footage,” adding they regretted the error.

The Eagles went the entire 2017 season, including the playoffs, without a player taking a knee during the anthem.
Fox News also deleted their tweet of the video clip.
