GRAY, Ga. (AP) - The Drug Enforcement Administration has raided a Georgia doctor’s office and now four people are accused of illegal drug prescription and other crimes.

WMAZ-TV reports the DEA raided Georgia Pain and Behavior Medicine in Gray on Tuesday. A federal indictment says the office of Dr. Thomas Sachy illegally distributed drugs like morphine, oxycodone and fentanyl.

The indictment says illegal prescriptions caused death or serious injury for at least one patient. It says Sachy, office manager Maureen Sachy, nurse Evelyne Ennis, and medical assistant Brandy Lynn Hamilton - also known as Brandy Lynn Birchfield - were charged with offenses including conspiracy to distribute and dispense control substances.

It’s unclear if they have lawyers.

The DEA referred questions to Pam Lightsey of the U.S. Attorney’s office in Macon. WMAZ-TV could not reach her for comment.
