PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Ride-hailing company Uber has returned to T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island.

Uber spokeswoman Alix Anfang says the company will pick up passengers from a privately-owned garage about 200 feet (60 meters) from the terminal starting Wednesday.

Propark America, which manages Red Beam Garage C, has agreed to allow the company to pick up customers there for a $3.36 fee.

Uber suspended its service at the airport in May after officials imposed a $6 fee for each pickup. Airport officials said the fees were needed to recoup revenue.

Lyft, another ride-hailing service, continued to operate at the airport and pays a $5 fee for each pickup.
