RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are investigating after a young girl was hit and killed by a UPS semi-truck while riding her bicycle.
Police say the 8-year-old girl was riding her bike along the sidewalk on Tuesday afternoon, but then rode into the street where she was hit.
KTVN-TV reports the girl died after the crash.
Police say the driver is cooperating.
They say alcohol and speeding were not factors in the case.
No charges have been pressed against the driver.
