NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - Authorities say a man who is well-known to law enforcement for his frequent arrests tried to break into a New Hampshire police station.

The Telegraph reports the 33-year-old man was arrested around noon Saturday after police say he removed a window frame and screen at a Nashua substation.

Prosecutors say the man had been hanging around the station and observing the window before trying to break in.

The man has been charged with criminal mischief, loitering and resisting arrest.

Prosecutors say the man has been arrested nine times so far this year. A judge set his bail at $500 cash.
