LONG BEACH, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities are trying to determine if a child’s body found in the waters off Long Beach is that of a 10-year-old boy who went missing last week while swimming with his brother.
Police on Long Island tell Newsday the body was discovered off Lincoln Boulevard Sunday afternoon and taken to the medical examiner’s office.
The 10-year-old boy was last seen with his 11-year-old brother near Ocean Beach Park just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
