RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Latest on the Nevada Democratic Party’s state convention in Reno (all times local):

Sen. Elizabeth Warren told Nevada Democrats the “soul of our country” is at stake in November’s midterm elections.
The Massachusetts Democrat told the state party convention in Reno on Saturday that voters in the battleground western state will play a pivotal role in putting their party on the road to taking back the White House in 2020. And she vowed that, “change is coming.”
Warren said President Donald Trump and the GOP leadership in Congress are beholden to corporate profits and polluters, and stand for “hatefulness, ugliness and cruelty.”
Taking aim at the administration’s immigration policy, she said Trump has called immigrants “animals” and “ripped children from the arms of their mommas.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren is telling Nevada Democrats they will play a pivotal role in the November elections on the road to taking back the White House in 2020.
The Massachusetts Democrat mentioned as a possible challenger to President Donald Trump in two years said in a speech to hundreds of delegates at Nevada’s state Democratic convention in Reno on Saturday that they were one of the party’s bright spots in 2016.
In addition to being one of the few swing states that sided with Hillary Clinton, Warren said Nevadans elected Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto as the first Latina in the Senate and the first woman to represent Nevada there.
She told a spirited crowd in a hotel-casino ballroom their grassroots organization won in 2016 and their energy will carry Rep. Jacky Rosen to victory in her bid to unseat Republican Sen. Dean Heller.
Warren said she doesn’t just want a party strong enough to drive Trump “and his enablers out of power.” She says she wants a party strong enough to “take on the hard job of cleaning up the mess they will leave behind once they are gone.”

The chairman of Nevada’s Democratic Party says the eyes of the nation will be on the Silver State in the November elections.
William McCurdy told the party’s state convention in Reno Saturday it’s no secret that the road to Democratic majorities in the U.S. House and Senate goes through Nevada.
An African-American elected chairman last year, he says diversity is the strength of the Democratic Party and it will help Congressman Jacky Rosen knock off Sen. Dean Heller. He said the only incumbent GOP senator running for re-election in a state Hillary Clinton carried in 2016 is the most vulnerable member of the Senate.
McCurdy called Heller a “spineless politician who has done nothing more than be a rubber stamp for President Donald Trump.”

The Nevada Democrat trying to unseat Republican Sen. Dean Heller kicked off her state party’s convention in Reno with an attack on his wavering positions on immigration, health care and Planned Parenthood.
Rep. Jacky Rosen said Saturday Heller tells hard-working Nevadans one thing, then votes lock-step with President Donald Trump.
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is the keynote speaker at the convention in the high-stakes Western battleground state.
Heller is the only Senate Republican up for re-election in any state Hillary Clinton carried in 2016.
Trump is headlining Nevada’s Republican state convention in Las Vegas Saturday afternoon and appearing at a fundraiser on Heller’s behalf.
The president helped persuade Danny Tarkanian, the son of legendary UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, to drop his combative GOP primary challenge against Heller from the right three months ago.
