ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Wild will play seven of their first 10 games at home this season, before seven straight road games for the longest such stretch in franchise history.
The NHL announced the full 2018-19 schedule Thursday, the day after revealing the home openers. The Wild open at Colorado Oct. 4 and host Vegas Oct. 6 to start the 82-game slate, the only visit to Minnesota by the Golden Knights.
Central Division rival Winnipeg is the only opponent to visit for three regular season games. The Wild finish April 6 at Dallas, the only team they face three times on the road.
The Wild have one set of back-to-back home games, March 16 and 17 against the New York Rangers and New York Islanders. That’s part of a season-long five-game homestand.
