The Washington Wizards are heading overseas.
The NBA announced Wednesday the Wizards will face the New York Knicks in London on Jan. 17 at The O2.
“It will be an honor to represent the Washington Wizards organization as we play our first game in the UK,” Wizards star John Wall said in a statement. “I look forward to connecting with our fans in London and using the experience to further bond as a team.”
This is the first time the Wizards will play a regular season game outside of North America. Washington has traveled to Brazil, Israel, China and other countries for preseason contests.
