Through two games, we are no closer to a decision of which team Lord Stanley’s Cup will be awarded to.

The Washington Capitals took Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final 3-2 over the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday, thanks to three points by Lars Eller and a Braden Holtby paddle save that electrified the District and social media.

The Capitals evened the series 1-1, and the series heads to Washington for Game 3 with both teams three wins away from their ultimate goal.

Here’s everything you need to know (and read) before the puck drops on the first Stanley Cup home game played in Washington in 20 years.

What to watch for: Barry Trotz said center Evgeny Kuznetsov is a game-time decision.
