OPINION:
Kathy Griffin went on a Twitter rant against first lady Melania Trump, calling her, among other things, “feckless” and “complicit” and an all-around “piece of s—t.”
Nice. This is comedy, leftist style.
And it’s the same type of comedy that landed Griffin in trouble months ago, when she laughed it up with an image of herself holding a makeshift bloodied, severed head of President Donald Trump.
Somebody please give this lady a bar of soap. Or a year’s worth of free therapy. Something.
Anyhow, on Twitter, Griffin responded to Mrs. Trump’s plea to Congress, made via her spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, to bring a bipartisan end to child separations at the border with this: “F— you, Melanie.”
That’s Melania to you, Ms. Griffin. Not Melanie. Melania.
Honestly, if you’re going to Twitter slap somebody, it only seems common decency and courtesy to get their name right. Right?
“F— you, Melanie,” Griffin tweeted. “You know damn well your husband can end this immediately … you feckless complicit piece of s—t.”
It was just a few days ago that Hollywood’s Robert De Niro went on an obscenity-laced rant against President Donald Trump, similarly f-bombing the commander-in-chief at a public event, publicly broadcast event.
The takeaway?
There really isn’t any — except to point, once again, to what’s becoming more and more obvious, as each day passes under this Trump administration, and it’s simply this: The left is insane.
Dangerously so.
And they need some serious, serious psychological counseling.
