PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix music festival that was to feature artists including The Chainsmokers and Imagine Dragons has been canceled.
Organizers of October’s three-day Lost Lake Festival announced the news on the event’s social media platforms Friday afternoon.
Superfly, a company known for coordinating music festivals around the U.S., did not give an explanation behind the “difficult decision.”
People who already purchased tickets have been promised automatic full refunds, including processing fees.
Music trade publication Billboard was first to report the news, saying it was likely due to poor ticket sales.
This would have been the Lost Lake Festival’s second year.
Last year’s event at Steele Indian School Park more than 45,000 people over three days.
Superfly says the $25,000 raised last year will go to local Phoenix charities.
