Elena Delle Donne is on her way to a fifth All-Star appearance. After the first fan return, the Washington Mystics forward had the second highest total in the league, 24,152 votes.

Under the new format, the two players with the most votes, regardless of conference, will be announced as team captains. Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx came in first with 25,496.

Delle Donne was the leading vote-getter in 2015, her MVP season, and in 2013 as a rookie. Delle Donne is the only rookie in WNBA history to lead the All-Star game in votes.

Delle Donne, the reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Month, is currently averaging 20.5 ppg on 48.6 percent shooting from the field and 36.2 percent from beyond the arc.
