Former Press Secretary Sean Spicer was heckled at a New York Barnes and Noble Wednesday night, as he promoted his new book “The Briefing.”

Think Progress’ Aaron Rupar shared a video sent to him from an unnamed source of Mr. Spicer being shouted at during a Q&A.

“Hey Sean, you’re a real piece of garbage,” the protestor shouted, “I hope you look around and see all these empty seats and you realize in New York City people will not come and pay money to see you speak.”

Security immediately removed the protestor as he continued to yell at Mr. Spicer.

Another man off camera yelled at the protestor, “Get the f**k out a**hole.”

Mr. Spicer’s reaction was not recorded in the video.

“It’s a garbage book, and you’re a garbage person,” the man yells as he was escorted out of the store.

The heckler video came just a few days after a BJ’s Wholesale store in Massachusetts canceled Mr. Spicer’s appearance at a book signing because of “the political climate.”

Mr. Spicer’s book “The Briefing: Politics, The Press, and The President” was released nationwide on Tuesday.
