Orlando Scandrick hasn’t been with the Washington Redskins long, but the cornerback already has an idea on who they should add.

Enter Dez Bryant.

Scandrick and Bryant were teammates for years on the Dallas Cowboys, and Bryant has yet to be signed since being released in April.

Asked which team would be a good fit for Bryant, Scandrick told the Dallas Morning News, “Washington.”

I know Dez can still catch touchdowns,” Scandrick said. “I know he can still be a great red zone threat, and I would love to play with him again.”

Bryant had a disappointing 2017 — finishing with 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns. The 29-year-old hasn’t had a 1,000-plus yard season since 2014.

It’s somewhat of a surprise, however, Bryant remains unsigned. He reportedly turned down a multi-year offer from the Baltimore Ravens in April, preferring to play on a one-year deal to restore his value.

The Redskins, meanwhile, appear to be set at wide receiver. They added speed-threat Paul Richardson in free agency to pair with Josh Doctson and Jamison Crowder.

Scandrick joined the Redskins in March, signing a two-year, $7 million deal.
