A lot of people apparently bought Kirk Cousins’ jersey after the quarterback joined the Minnesota Vikings.
From March 1-May 31, Cousins sold the 16th-most player branded merchandise, according to the NFLPA’s Players Sales List. That included jerseys, bobbleheads, youth apparel and more.
Interestingly enough, Cousins did not make the previous version of the list, which captured the top 50 sales from March 1, 2017-Feb.28, 2018, when he was still a member of the Washington Redskins.
New Redksins quarterback Alex Smith, meanwhile, did not finish in the top 50 for this quarter. In fact, no one from the Redskins did.
Other players in the NFC East, however, did quite well.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles finished No. 1 after being named Super Bowl LII MVP in February. Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Philadelphia’s normal starter, ranked third.
New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley debuted on the list at No. 4.
In total, the Eagles had six players crack the top 50, while the Cowboys and Giants each had three.
Here is the top 10:
- Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
- Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
- Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
- Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants
- Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
- Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
- Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys
- Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers
- Odell Beckham Jr., WR, New York Giants
