A conservative group released its third round of advertisements Monday in support of Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh, airing in four red states with Democratic senators.

The Judicial Crisis Network said its ad buy of $1.4 million will air for one week in Alabama, Indiana, North Dakota and West Virginia on cable, broadcast and digital media.

The ad says Judge Kavanaugh “has earned respect from both sides of the aisle” and that he’s a “grand slam” for conservatives.

“Red state Democrats have a choice to make — stand with Sen. Schumer and the far-left-wing resistance, or vote to confirm a highly-qualified mainstream judge who has a record of being fair, independent, and adhering to the Constitution. The choice is simple,” said JCN chief counsel and policy director Carrie Severino.

The ad buy brings the total amount spent by the group to $3.8 million in the three weeks since President Trump nominated Judge Kavanaugh, 53, to replace the retiring Justice Anthony M. Kennedy.

Democratic Sens. Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin III of West Virginia all are running for re-election this year. Sen. Doug Jones of Alabama is up for re-election in 2020.

Judge Kavanaugh, of the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, is expected to resume meetings with individual senators Tuesday as he seeks their support for his confirmation.
