BETHESDA, Md. (AP) - Authorities say an SUV crashed into an apartment house in a suburb of Washington, displacing seven people from three families.

The Washington Post reports that Montgomery County fire and rescue service spokesman Pete Piringer says the SUV crashed into the Bethesda building around 7 p.m. on Monday. The building sustained damage, and the driver was hospitalized with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

The driver has not been identified.

The cause of the crash has not been reported.
