NBA superstar and part owner of an NFL franchise? Stephen Curry wants to do both, telling reporters that he’s “very interested” in joining the next ownership group of the Carolina Panthers.
“I’m very interested and very willing to do what it takes to make that happen,” the Golden State Warriors point guard said on Monday, per The Athletic’s Anthony Slater.

Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Curry has been a fan of the Carolina Panthers since his childhood. The two-time NBA MVP famously banged the Carolina’s ceremonial “Keep Pounding” drum before Super Bowl 50 in 2016.
Current Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is selling the team after being accused by several former female employees of sexual harassment.
