Bill Belichick said Monday he “absolutely” plans to coach the New England Patriots next season.

On Friday, ESPN dropped an article about the building tension between Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and owner Robert Kraft. The three released a statement denying the claims, but many still speculated whether this could be Belichick’s last year in New England.

Belichick didn’t elaborate much about ESPN’s report, only telling reporters, “I haven’t read the article. I already commented at length on that situation and I don’t have anything to add to it.”

The Patriots went 13-3 in the regular season and play the Tennessee Titans on Saturday.
