SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) - Kyle Allman scored eight of his 30 points in overtime and Cal State Fullerton survived Cal Poly’s late rally for a 101-97 victory on Saturday night.

The Mustangs hit five 3-pointers during a 21-10 run to pull to 83-80 with 35 seconds left in regulation. The Titans’ Khalil Ahmad missed the front end of a 1-and-1, and then Donovan Fields made a pair of free throws to tie it at 85 with three seconds remaining and force overtime.

Allman made a layup and was 6 of 6 from the free-throw line as Cal State Fullerton (9-5, 2-0 Big West Conference) outscored Cal Poly (6-10, 1-1) 16-12 in the extra period.

Jackson Rowe added 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Titans. Allman finished 10-of-17 shooting and made 10 of 15 free throws.

Victor Joseph scored a career-high 33 points with seven 3-pointers to lead Cal Poly. Fields added 23 points, including four 3s. The Mustangs made 19 shots from long range, two shy of a program best. Hank Hollingsworth blocked a program-record seven shots.
