One of Roy Moore’s accusers filed a defamation lawsuit Thursday against the failed Senate candidate, citing personal attacks made during his campaign.

Leigh Corfman, one of Mr. Moore’s first accusers, is seeking costs associated with legal fees in her suit, but no additional compensation, The Washington Post reported. She also wants a public apology and to bar him from making further attacks.

Ms. Corfman accused Mr. Moore of pursing a sexual relationship with her when she was 14 years old and he was in his 30s. She said he touched her inappropriately and asked her to touch him in return.

“We look forward to transparently discussing these matters in a court of law,” Brett Doster, a campaign representative for Mr. Moore, said to the newspaper.

Mr. Moore has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.
