SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A conservative super PAC that backed Alabama Republican Roy Moore’s Senate campaign is urging Utah Republican Rep. Mia Love to run for retiring Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch’s seat and thwart and expected campaign from Mitt Romney.

Love’s campaign manager Dave Hansen says the congresswoman is not considering a Senate run.

Love said in a post on Twitter that she doesn’t support the Solution Fund PAC or Moore.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the Louisiana-based Solution Fund spent $11,000 on digital ads branding Love “the most exciting young Republican conservative in Congress” and Romney as “the best friend Hillary Clinton ever had.”

The PAC did not return a message seeking comment.

Hatch announced Tuesday he would not run for re-election this year.

Romney has not announced he’s running but those close to him say he’s interested and expect an announcement soon.
