President Trump and first lady Melania Trump will be in attendance when Alabama and Georgia square off for the college football national championship Monday, according to multiple reports.

Greg Bluestein of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported on Wednesday that Mr. Trump plans to attend next week’s all-SEC showdown, and will be accompanied by his wife, Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue, and Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, Nick Ayers.

According to Bluestein, “Atlanta Police spokesman Carlos Campos said the department is working with the Secret Service to ratchet up security for his [Mr. Trump’s] arrival.”

If the president does attend, it will be the second major college football game he has attended since his election in November 2016. Mr. Trump attended the Army-Navy game in 2016 as president-elect.
